Malayalam filmmakers cinema has always been known for the sensitive handling of topics. Malayalam filmmakers have always been brave enough to touch topics with high emotional content. The audience also have been mature enough to respond positively to films with strong themes. Beautiful, directed by VK Prakash is one such endeavour. The film stars Jayasurya, Anoop Menon and Meghna Raj essay pivotal roles in the film.
Beautiful bares resemblance to Bollywood film Guzaarish, starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai. The film also seems to be inspired from Hollywood flicks The Seas Inside and The diving bell & The butterfly. However, you cannot call it a copy as it retains its’ strong Malayali flavour.
