Jagathy Sreekumar bags Narendra Prasad award

Jagathy Sreekumar, well known comedian actor and well-known literary critic B Rajeev have been selected for this year's Narendra Prasad Foundation award for their outstanding contribution to Malayalam cinema.........................

Narendra Prasad Foundation award, instituted in memory of actor, the late Narendra Prasad, constitute a cash prize of Rs 15,000 and a citation, Foundation Chairman Jayaraj told reporters.

The award would be presented to the winners at a function in Mavellikara on December 26, 2011.

Some of the best films of Jagathy Sreekumar include Bombay March 12, Adaminde Makan Abu, Janapriyan, Kudumbasree Travels, Manikyakallu, Makeup Man and Ithu Nammude Katha amongst others.
